The MOB is open for enrollment for the upcoming 2017-2018 year. If you have are a musician, have a passion for writing comedy, or just want to be part of something fun while you are at Rice, then fill out the registration form and give The MOB a try! Rice University Bands also has Symphonic Band and Jazz Band to offer.

The MOB was invited to perform at the Mayor’s last State of the City on April 16, 2015. The MOB performed at Mayor Anise Parker’s first State of the City as well.

The MOB Wins Again!
We are honored and pleased that once again The MOB has won a prize in the Houston Marathon Hoopla! Placing in the top 5 for 5 of the past 6 years, this year the runners voted The MOB their third favorite entertainers along the marathon route. Congratulations!!
